  2. Ok, let me do this right - Interesting commentary (unfortunately) as a historical gamer and ex-competition chess player, I do have a tendency to like to win my battles. But as I grow older - I have tried to mellow, But hey as any good pirate knows - the Code or Rules are only meant to be a general set of guidelines for us pirates or generals to follow. As a Fuzzy Wuzzy in a TSATF game I had great pleasure in causing the foreign devils to explode their own armory as I went to my heavenly award of 72 virgins. General guidelines are always fun Arrrrrrrrgh. But pillaging the village is more fun.

  3. Aye, that's good stuff from Eli.
Hosting same-side (co-op) games of FNG at our local club has been a great way to sort through our membership and meet folks that just want to have fun, that want to play a game and most importantly; want to build solid friendships.

A club like The Trumpeter Society with over 30 years of history and a big membership can become something of a stalking ground for poorly socialised 'winners'.
